In 2003, Ranguel Graduated from The International Academy of Massage (with Honours), and became an RMT. Ranguel is specialized in using the technique of Acupressure which involves the concepts of Acupuncture but without needling. Ranguel knows how important it is to get his patients involved with their own recovery therefore he has a vast knowledge of remedial exercises and stretches that he encourages his patients to do, speeding up their recovery time from injury. Ranguel's strengths are in his deep tissue treatments and his love of working with sports related and overuse injuries. Ranguel is originally from Bulgaria and is an avid soccer player. Before coming to Canada Ranguel was a Mechanical Engineer.
My name is Chatelain Jean (CJ) and I am a Registered Massage Therapist who is dedicated to the well being of my patients. I am active and enjoy sports, working out, reading, and am fascinated with the anatomy of the human body. The first thing that I learned in school was that our bodies were built to move and healing takes place in the presence of movement. As an RMT, my main objective is to facilitate the healing process to happen quickly and naturally.
My treatment style is one of subtle intensity which allows the body to de-stress and alleviate discomfort from chronic pain syndromes. My work inspires a sense of renewal to restore optimum function throughout the body. I have continued my education to McMaster University, and today I integrate Medical Acupuncture with neuromuscular dysfunction, deep tissue work, reflexology, myofascial release, trigger points, and active release therapy.
I truly enjoy my work as an RMT and believe the power of therapeutic bodywork with the right intention has the potential to holistically change lives.
